Child-Like

These sounds I make are medicine, they’re barricades and weapons man/
Rocket ships of penmanship up to the stars and back again/
Touch the ground and hold the sound inside my ears I let it in/
Let me dream of hyper beams and simplified ascendence man/

Sending out the signal waiting for my tribe to come alive/
Inventing my own style so I’m easy to identify/
Hear me from the other side of cyphers filled with shouting cries/
Looking like a hipster spitting whispers of another time/

Backwards snapbacks bearded like a dragon tagging ray guns/
Posted up at shows and stuff to show em up and show some love/
Throw some hugs that knock em back and make em think they aint so tough/
Hold it down like solo cups I’m punching up than flipping some/

Sixteens like gats I pack em let em ratatat like missiles man/
I’m shooting at the stars again to send a signal to my friends/

Broadcasting live from outer space a pale blue dot a cosmic stage allowing me to dream and play with tools of man like time and waves/

It don’t take much to stay in touch with what you really need in life/
A couple friends a quiet space a love to keep you up all night/
And I don’t mean some flesh to touch I’m talking bout a hobby like/
Something you would do if there was only you on earth to vibe/

My penmanship is less aggressive more or less less popular/
I guess it’s good I’m not concerned with what they say is selling first/
More concerned with why it’s selling what it means for all these words/
That should be used for exploration of our inner work/

So rebellious soul can bellow but I’m trying to be the change/
This information comes full circle ready to initiate/

Creative spaces states that turn ascension to birth/
Rebirth and reinvention true contestants and professors/
Confessing that it’s better when the times are changing let em/

Simple things we learn as kids till we grow up and change the truth/
We changed the tune but not the song and now nothing is fitting right/

The hope for better days that tends to float away with age/

The dreams that crack and fade away the backs we break to make em stay and everything that’s in between the things that we dont say/

Guess I’m just a kid at heart I like to play and be a part of something bigger than my art hope it’s enough at least a start/
